Psychedelic Integration Therapy in Edmonton
The journey into a psychedelic experience can be profound, transformative, and deeply personal. Whether you have explored psychedelics for spiritual growth, healing from past trauma, or expanding your self-awareness, the process of integration is essential. Integration is where we make sense of these powerful experiences and weave their insights into the fabric of your everyday life.
As a Registered Provisional Psychologist in Alberta, I offer psychedelic integration therapy to support you in exploring and grounding these experiences. My approach is rooted in somatic therapy, depth psychology, and trauma-informed care blending scientific knowledge with a deep respect for the personal, emotional, and spiritual aspects of your experience. I hold these conversations with sensitivity and care, recognizing that each psychedelic experience is unique and deserves to be honored in its unfolding.
In line with the College of Alberta Psychologists’ Practice Guideline on Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy, my role does not involve providing, prescribing, recommending, or supervising the use of any psychedelic medicines, nor do I offer preparation or active support during a psychedelic journey. Decisions about the use of psychedelic medicines, their prescription, and administration are solely the responsibility of qualified medical professionals (such as physicians or psychiatrists). My focus is solely on the integration of these experiences—exploring how to process, ground, and learn from what has already unfolded, in a way that aligns with your life and values.
What to Expect During Psychedelic Integration Therapy
The integration process is an ongoing therapeutic practice where we explore the emotional, psychological, and spiritual shifts that occurred during your journey. While each integration session is unique, it typically involves several key elements:
1. Reflecting on the Experience
We’ll start by reviewing your psychedelic experience in detail. Whether you had a breakthrough insight or a challenging moment during your journey, it’s important to process what happened and make sense of the emotions or realizations that emerged. Together, we will explore what came up for you and how it connects to your broader life narrative, values, and goals.
2. Grounding the Insights
Psychedelic journeys often bring forward new perspectives, spiritual insights, or emotional revelations. The challenge, however, is grounding these insights into your life in a practical and meaningful way. In our sessions, we will discuss how to integrate your insights into your everyday life, relationships, and mental health. This may involve setting new intentions, making changes in your behavior, or reframing limiting beliefs that surfaced during your journey.
3. Processing Difficult Emotions or Challenges
Not all psychedelic experiences are smooth or easy to navigate. It’s not uncommon for challenging emotions, traumas, or unresolved issues to surface during the journey. These moments can be difficult to process, and without support, they can lead to confusion or emotional distress. As your therapist, I will help you navigate these difficult emotions and ensure that you feel supported and safe while processing them. We’ll work on reframing these difficult experiences and using them as stepping stones for personal growth.
4. Developing Practical Tools for Sustaining Growth
The goal of psychedelic integration is not just to process the experience but to sustain the growth and transformation that occurs. Together, we’ll explore practical tools that can help you maintain the positive changes you’ve made, whether it’s developing a regular mindfulness practice, enhancing your emotional regulation skills, or strengthening your relationships. The work you do in integration therapy will help you build a solid foundation for lasting transformation.

Why Choose Me for Psychedelic Preparation and Integration Therapy?
I bring a holistic, compassionate approach to psychedelic integration, bringing my familiar mix of psychedelic research supported modalities – AEDP, somatic therapy, parts work, narrative, ACT, and a depth psychology lens. My practice is grounded in a deep understanding of the mind-body connection, and I integrate these principles to ensure that your integration process is grounded, nurturing, and transformative. I approach each client with deep empathy and respect for their individual experience, recognizing that the process of integration is deeply personal and should be treated with reverence and curiosity.
I draw from my own years of experience supporting folks in psychedelic integration, continued training, as well as personal understanding of how powerful—and sometimes challenging—these experiences can be. Prior to becoming a psychologist, I worked in a peer support and supervisory capacity at Fireside Project – a peer support line for people actively tripping or integrating psychedelic experiences. During my clinical internship, I worked on the licensing and programming of one of Edmonton’s first psychedelic-assisted therapy clinics, Reunion Therapy, which included supporting individuals with the Special Access Program for psilocybin and MDMA-assisted therapies and co-facilitating psychedelic integration circles. Prior to starting my private practice, I worked at PATH Therapy and supported folks integrating psilocybin journeys. Through all of this work, I gained deep insights into the wisdom of the body and the therapeutic potential of psychedelics in supporting personal growth and healing and continue to learn through client experiences and the evolving landscape of psychedelic research.
I hold this work as a sacred process of unfolding, respecting your autonomy and the unique meaning of your experience. My intention is to offer you a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you feel supported and empowered to integrate these experiences into your life’s journey—always respecting your autonomy and collaborating with your broader care team, as needed.
